Slay those “Sunday Scaries” with the help of this frugal (not free) weekly planner template! This is one of the best weekly planner printables to give you a preview of the week ahead and prepare you to tackle whatever is coming your way.
Not familiar with the Sunday Scaries? It’s a sense of dread or anxiety that sets in on Sunday as you think about the school or workweek ahead. Anyone can come down with a case of the Sunday Scaries—adults thinking about heading back to work, students thinking about the school bell ringing, a stay-at-home parent thinking about their spouse going back to work (and leaving them alone with the kids), etc.
If you know this feeling all too well, you aren’t alone! (Obviously, or their wouldn’t be name for it, right? 😉 ) Good news; there are multiple ways you can fight and ultimately conquer the Sunday Scaries. Two methods involve planning, which is where this frugal (not free) printable weekly planner PDF comes into play!
The first method to slaying those Sunday Scaries is to merely plan your week out using one of the two cute weekly planner templates below. The unknown is always a little intimidating (and sometimes outright scary!), so simply knowing what is coming your way can help you feel more confident. Plus, planning your week ahead of time using the frugal (not free) printable weekly planner gives you a chance to set yourself up for success by identifying your top priorities and must-dos.
The second method to combating the Sunday Scaries is to give yourself something to look forward to during the upcoming week. This could be something really simple like a relaxing bath with some of this homemade lavender and chamomile bath soak. Go ahead; add a little something to look forward to to your frugal (not free) weekly planner template … just make sure it’s really something you’ll look forward to!

Not Just a Student Weekly Planner Printable
This printable was initially created to be a student weekly planner PDF, and it is currently part of the 13-page student planner printable bundle. (More on that below.) However, there’s no reason this printable weekly planner template can’t be used by anyone!
For example, let’s say you’re the resident chef and thinking about feeding your hungry hoard family throughout the busy workweek gives you a mean case of the Sunday Scaries. Fight back by using this as a printable weekly meal planner template! Turning the student weekly planner into a weekly menu planner is easy; in the “subject” fields just write down each of the meals you have to plan for—breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. And voilà, you have a printable weekly meal planner template! 🙂
Bonus: This printable grocery list template is sure to come in handy when you’re using your printable weekly meal planner template. And if you want a printable specifically designed as a weekly menu printable, look no further than this free weekly menu planner printable and this printable meal planner.
Monday through Friday Weekly Planner Template
There are two versions of the frugal (not free) printable weekly planner. The first version is labeled Monday through Friday and has space for up to three “subjects.” Again, if you aren’t a student, you could replace subjects with meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), three different clients or work projects, or anything else.
The best weekly planners, like this one, are really for helping you preview your week and your top priorities, such as that big client presentation or final exam in chemistry. You probably will not have enough room to write down every to-do for each day of the week on your printable weekly planner template. For more in-depth planning, make sure you also have a free printable daily planner.
Tip: For looking at things from a birds-eye view and then getting down in the weeds, it can be helpful to have a variety of planners. Look for daily, weekly, monthly planners that can cover all the bases. And if you want to get very specific, instead of weekly, hourly planners may be the way to go. This post provides the planner for weekly, hourly planners can be found here: 3 Printable Hourly Schedule Templates.
Unlabeled Weekly Planner Printable
The second page of this frugal (not free) weekly planner template is not pre-labeled with days. There is space for five days and up to four subjects. This means you can use this printable for any five days of the week you like, not just Monday through Friday. The best weekly planners are flexible, and this version definitely fits that bill! 🙂
