Our family loves traveling, having dance parties in our kitchen, and listening to music too loud.
How I Learned to be Frugal
For as long as I can remember, when my grandpa would give me birthday money, he would always say, “Now, you put that in the bank.” My grandparents lived a very frugal life. My grandpa told me it was because they survived the Great Depression. This impacted me tremendously.
This motivated me to follow their lead and live frugally and manage my money wisely. It also influenced my decision to pursue a finance degree.
