How I Use the Free Printable Christmas Planner
Of course, I use every single page in the 28-page Christmas Planner printable, but there are a few pages I really love.
I’m a big fan of the Holiday Goals, Family Traditions, Holiday Activities, and Holiday in Review sections. How many of us have gone through the holiday whirl-wind, only to realize afterward that we didn’t make time for some of our most cherished traditions? If that sounds like you, these sections will be perfect!
I write down my family’s favorite traditions and activities on the Family Traditions and Holiday Activities pages. Then, I make sure to include doing them in the Holiday Goals for the season!
After that, it’s easy to remember to schedule time for our most cherished activities in the December Calendar. And when the season is all over, I use the Holiday in Review section to reflect. What went well this season? Did anything not get done? Do I need to re-prioritize or reschedule anything next year? So helpful!
I also love the sections that make this a Christmas dinner planner. I can keep my menu, recipes, and shopping list all in one place. Using the menu planner and shopping list, I’m prepared when I head to the grocery store and prep any meals I have to make. (If you are the type to make multiple trips to the grocery store, you will love these pages.)
Also, I can’t live without the Holiday Gifts Budget and Gift Giving pages. The Holiday Gifts Budget helps me set and keep my budget: I know how much I have to spend, so I don’t go overboard! The Gift Giving pages help me keep track of the gifts I need to buy for each person–as well as whether I’ve bought, wrapped, and (if necessary) mailed each gift! This checklist is so, so useful for everyone.
Finally, I can’t forget to mention the extras that come with this planner that aren’t included in any of the other free Christmas planner printables I’ve seen: the Dear Santa Letters and the Free Printable Christmas Cards. These pages make it easy and cheap to send cute, festive letters and cards to your loved ones (not to mention saving you the hassle of buying them somewhere else).
