Here are just a few of the ways I’ve put lowercase bubble letters (and other printable alphabet letters and other printable letters) to use.
Lowercase Bubble Letters: Coloring Sheets
One of the simplest uses for a bubble letters alphabet (lowercase and uppercase) is to turn the letters into coloring sheets. You can print out the entire alphabet, blow up a single letter (like the lowercase m bubble letter), or cut out certain letters and spell words for your kiddos to color.
You can turn up the educational value of this coloring project by asking your kids to decorate the bubble letters with items that start with the same letter. For example, they could draw an apple on the lowercase a bubble letter or a monkey on the lowercase m bubble letter. Trust me, keep these lowercase bubble letters to print handy because they make a great spur-of-the-moment rainy day activity!
Bonus: Using bubble letter alphabet lowercase printables as coloring sheets is a fun and free activity. It’s also a neat activity, which I’m sure all the busy moms out there can appreciate! While I’m sure your kiddos will have a blast coloring the lowercase m bubble letter (or whichever letters you choose), here are more coloring sheets to keep the good times rolling (and you house in one piece). 🙂
Lowercase Bubble Letters: Educational Games
I’ve mentioned this on other alphabet bubble letters printables, but these are great for creating educational games. In other words, bubble letters alphabet (lowercase and uppercase) printables can make learning fun! Here are three ways you could turn a bubble letter alphabet lowercase printable into a game:
- Flashcards – Cut out the letters and affix them to index cards to make flashcards. Whether you challenge your kiddo to simply name the letter or to sound out a word, these flashcards are sure to enhance their familiarity with the alphabet.
- Matching – Print out two sets of alphabet bubble letters lowercase printables and create a matching game. Make the game more challenging by having one set of lowercase bubble letters and one set of uppercase bubble letters so that your kiddo has to find the lowercase-uppercase pair!
- Scavenger Hunt – Give your kiddo a letter (such as the lowercase a bubble letter) and ask him or her to find items around the house that start with that same letter.

Lowercase Bubble Letters: Modern Calligraphy
Recently, I’ve started exploring calligraphy. Personally, I prefer modern calligraphy because it allows me to be more expressive and creative. It’s less rigid. The bubble letter alphabet (lowercase and uppercase) is a great addition to anyone’s modern calligraphy skill set.
Use the lowercase bubble letters to print as worksheets to help you develop muscle memory. Trace each letter again and again, and before you know it, you’ll be able to create all 26 letters, from lowercase a bubble letter to lowercase z bubble letter, without even so much as glancing at a printable! 🙂
Tip: If you aren’t familiar with calligraphy, it’s a frugal hobby that can help you relax.
