101 of the Best Educational Toddlers Toys (From a Mom Who Knows)
Okay, right off the bat, I want to say that I am completely OCD about what toys my son plays with; however, I think my obsessive concern is justified. Studies show that children learn through play and these early (toddler) years are vital to educational success. With that in mind I am always on the hunt for educational toddlers toys that are fun, frugal, and of course, educational.
I have spent countless hours researching the very best educational toddlers toys for my now three year old son. I’m wiling to admit that some of it has been trial and error. Now, you can benefit from my hard work. Save yourself hours of research and avoid my mistakes. Yep, here they are, the 101 best educational toddlers toys I have come across.
My favorite educational toddlers toys brands include Melissa & Doug, LeapFrog, Crayola, and LEGO.
In addition to all of these educational toddlers toys and games here is a huge selection of fun yet educational books for your little learners.
Draw and Create

2. Step2 Easel For Two with Bonus Magnetic Letters/Numbers: This educational toddlers toy gets a lot of use in my home. My son’s easel is nearly identically and we use it just about every day.
3. Crayola Ultimate Art Case with Easel: This educational toddlers toy really packs a punch. It’s inexpensive (just $11.99 from Amazon plus free shipping with Prime), portable (everything closes up in this little box), and filled with tools to let your little one express his or her artistic nature.
4. Crayola 24 Count Sidewalk Chalk: Let your toddler spruce up the outside of the house this spring with this pack of sidewalk chalk.
5. Crayola Washable Crayons, 24 count: Help your little one learn his or her colors with this frugal 24 pack of washable crayons. My favorite word? “Washable”. It’s music to my ears.
6. Crayola Washable Window Crayons – 5-count: Let your toddler turn the house into a work of art with this artistic educational toddlers toy from Crayola. Again, this product has the magic word “washable” in its name so you don’t have to worry about permanent messes.
