As much as I don’t like to give toys to my son that require a battery, there are some great educational toddlers toys and games that fit into this category.
83. LeapFrog LeapTV Educational Gaming System: This was a hard purchase for me because I don’t like the idea of video games for young kids, but this game won me over. Why? Because it’s fun AND educational plus my son gets exercise jumping around playing it. Be sure to pick up an extra LeapFrog LeapTV Transforming Controller so the rest of the family can join in. Check out this short video of my son playing one of his favorite Jake and the Never Land Pirate Games on the LeapFrog LeapTV. He of course has to be dressed in his Jake costume as well. 🙂
84. Educational, Active Video Games for LeapFrog LeapTV Educational Gaming System: These games are great when you’re looking for something that will give your child’s mind and body a good workout.
85. LeapFrog LeapPad3 Kids’ Learning Tablet: My son has this and loves it! He rarely sits still, but this learning tablet actually holds his attention for a good bit of time. As your child’s knowledge grows you can add new apps to this tablet so he or she has new skills to master.
86. LeapFrog My Own Leaptop: This was my son’s first computer and it worked perfectly. I can attest to the durability of this educational toddlers toy because my son beat it, threw it around, and stepped on it countless times… and it kept working. 🙂
87. Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Smart Stages Laptop: Got a little brainiac in the making? If so, this educational toddlers toy would make the perfect first computer. Your child can press different keys to hear songs, phrases, letters, colors, numbers, and more.
88. LeapFrog Chat and Count Cell Phone, Scout: Does your toddler want to be just like you down to the smallest detail (such as your cell phone)? Well now he or she can with this fun and educational toddlers toy featuring over 15 activities that are sure to stimulate little minds.
89. Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Smart Stages Puppy’s Smart Train: This educational toddlers toy will help your little one get mobile (that’s a good thing… right?) and includes over 50 learning songs, tunes, and phrases to keep the knowledge coming.
90. VTech Busy Learners Activity Cube: This toy is full of opportunities for discovery and exploration. Your child will learn about animals (their names and sounds), shapes, and more.
91. LeapFrog Touch Magic Learning Bus: This educational toddlers toy is described as “little touches. Big learning.” Which seems pretty spot on when you see all the stuff your child can learn including the alphabet, vocab, and motor skills.
92. LeapFrog LeapBand: I am all about toys, like this one, that will help encourage my son to eat fruits and vegetables and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Phonics DVD Sets
93. LeapFrog: 3-DVD Learning Collection: Okay, I’m not huge on my son watching a bunch of television but this educational toddlers toy (a set of 3 DVDs) is great for imparting knowledge on little minds. With this package a child can learn the alphabet, basic reading skills, and numbers.
94. Preschool Prep Series Collection – 10 DVD Boxed Set: We own this set and my son loves it. I will say it can be incredibly annoying for parents as they say the same letter or letter sound over and over and over again in different tones, but as long as he loves it and is learning I just do my best to tune it out. LOL!
95. LeapFrog: Letter Factory: If your little one is a little addicted to the TV, consider swapping out some of their “junk food” shows for educational toddlers toys like this LeapFrog DVD.
Educational Workbooks
96. Phonics for First Grade, Grade 1: Gold Star Edition: With 64 pages of activities, puzzles, games, and engaging art, this home workbook is sure to be a hit with your little one.
97. 25 Read & Write Mini-Books That Teach Word Families: This educational toddlers toy uses rhyming and storytelling to impart basic reading skills on children.
98. 100 Write-and-Learn Sight Word Practice Pages: Build your child’s reading confidence with this practice book which focuses on the 100 highest frequency words your child is likely to encounter while reading.
99. Phonics for Kindergarten, Grade K: This home workbook’s slogan should be “kid tested, teacher approved.” Your toddler is bound to learn essential skills through 64+ fun games, activities, and puzzles.
100. The Berenstain Bears Phonics Fun (My First I Can Read): Your toddler will have a blast learning with his pals the Berenstain Bears. Each book in this educational toddlers toy features a different phonics concept.
101. LeapFrog LeapReader Deluxe Writing Workbook: Learn to Write Letters with Mr. Pencil: Is your little one ready to take on penmanship? If so, add this educational toddlers toy to your cart now! It includes a 20 page story and 45 writing activities.
Whew! There you have it! 101 of the very best educational toddles toys around.
