othing says Halloween quite like ghosts, am I right? That’s why a ghost printable (or 5) is a must have! From home décor to keeping the kiddos entertained, there’s a lot you can do with a ghost template printable, but below are a few of my favorite ideas!
4 Ghost Printable
Want more bang for your buck? Then these ghost printables, featuring 4 ghosts, is for you! (Okay, actually, these are free printable ghost templates so there are no bucks involved, but you get what I’m trying to say.)
These smaller ghosts would be perfect for a less in-your-face decorating project such as interspersed in Halloween centerpieces or in a spooky Halloween banner. If you are making a banner with this ghost template printable, mix it up by using some of these free pumpkin printables too!
However, this ghost printable isn’t just for décor. You could also use each ghost as a lunch box note. Simply print, cut out each ghost, write a cute note, and stick one in your kiddo’s lunch bag. Trust me, this little extra treat is sure to brighten his or her day!

Friendly Ghost Printable
Who says ghosts have to be scary? This free ghost template printable certainly isn’t! This ghost printable could be used in décor, but you could also use it to entertain the kiddos when they’re stuck inside. Snag this Halloween ghost printable and have your kids give Casper the friendly ghost a little makeover.
Let your kiddos go crazy—washable markers, crayons, water colors, and if you’re feeling brave, glitter! I’m sure this ghost is tired of being pale all the time. 🙂

In Motion Ghost Printable
Whoa! This ghost is on the move… sort of like my little man! 😉 This free printable ghost template will be great for turning your home into a haunted house. Don’t be afraid to get creative with how you decorate, but here’s what I’d do:
- Print and cut out this ghost template printable.
- Cut some kind of clear string, such as fishing line, and tie it in a loop. (Using clear string will make it look like the ghost is “floating.”)
- Tape part of that loop to the back of the ghost printable. (By doing it this way, you don’t have to punch a hole in the ghost!)
- Hang these ghosts all over the house!
You could also tape these Halloween ghost printables to your windows. And don’t feel like you have to leave the ghosts “plain.” Invite your kiddos to “dress them up for Halloween” before putting them on display! 😉

Spooky Ghost Printable
This free spooky Halloween ghost printable sort of looks like its moaning, so I’ve deemed it the “spooky” ghost. Doesn’t it look like it should be rattling some chains? Perhaps you and the kiddos can make him a paper chain out of construction paper? 🙂

Excited Ghost Printable
I don’t know who is more excited for Halloween, my little man or this Halloween ghost printable! Add this free ghost printable to your pile of ghost template printables. In addition to décor and craft projects, you and the kiddos could use these ghosts to make Halloween cards for friends, family, and classmates.
