Around here, I want Father’s Day to be a special day. It’s not just another excuse to eat out. Nope, I really want Father’s Day to be a celebration of all the hubby does for me and the little man. After all, he’s a pretty great husband and father. My desire to truly show him how much he means to us (as well as stick to our budget) means I’d rather not just pick up another card from the store or another boring gift off the shelves. That’s why this Father’s Day, as we have for a few Father’s Days now, me and the kiddo will be checking out craft ideas for Father’s Day.
Even if you’re not on a budget, I still think DIY crafts for Father’s Day are the way to go. A homemade (or semi-homemade), heartfelt gift just shows a lot more thought… and it’s the thought that counts right?
For better or worse, I’m not exactly known for my crafting skills so in the early days, I was a bit nervous about tackling any Fathers day craft ideas for gifts. I figured whatever I did would end up looking pretty hokey, but thanks to Pinterest and the Internet in general, there are a plethora of craft ideas for Father’s Day out there… regardless of your skill level. Yay! 🙂
