This DIY gift in a jar Mason jar recipe for caramel apples is a great deviation from the standard Christmas cookies. Present this to a teacher, coworker, friend, or family member and watch his or her face light up.
INGREDIENTS
1 8 oz. wide mouth Mason jar or jelly jar
Twine
DIY gifts in a jar: Caramel apple gift tag
1 small apple
¼ C. mini M&M’s pieces
12 caramels
Wilton candy stick (medium)
Single hole punch
DIRECTIONS
1.) Pour the mini M&M’s into the Mason jar. NOTE: If you want this Mason jar recipe to be more “seasonal” look for red and green M&M’s.
2.) Add the wrapped caramels on top of the M&Ms.
3.) Slide the Wilton candy stick into the jar and seal the Mason jar.
4.) Print the gift tag here and use the hole punch to make a hole in it.
5.) Place the apple on top of the Mason jar and secure the apple and gift tag to the Mason jar with twine.
