If your New Year resolution included saving money or getting financially fit, one way to do that is to eat more meals at home. Another way is to cut out expensive entertainment outings like going to the movies (at $10 plus for each adult those tickets add up quick).

Step by Step Recipe: How to Make a Heart Shaped Pizza
These step by step recipe directions for how to make heart shaped pizza were adapted from Wikihow.
INGREDIENTS
- Pizza dough – Purchase a frozen pre-made pizza dough ball or make your own from scratch or from a boxed mix.
- Pizza sauce
- Toppings
- Flour
DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Put flour on a surface for rolling the dough. It can be done directly on a clean counter top. Put a small amount of flour on the dough ball itself. Knead the dough. Follow the instructions on your purchased dough or the recipe you use for the length of kneading time.
Step 2: Roll the dough into a circle. You may need to pull at the edges to try and get it larger. Alternate pulling and rolling until you get the desired thickness of the crust.
Step 3: Create the heart shape. Push down in the middle of the top of the circle to start forming the top of the heart. Pull down at the bottom of the circle to form a pointed end for the bottom of the heart. You can use scissors to cut around the edge and make the heart shape more defined.
Step 4: Spread on the pizza sauce. This is easily achieved by using the back of a large spoon.
Step 5: Add the toppings of your choice. (Our toppings include pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper, red onion and shredded mozzarella cheese.)
Step 6: Bake in the oven at the temperature suggested by the recipe that is best for your dough. Our pizza was baked at 500 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. You can check out this Martha Stewart video for additional tips on how to make a heart shaped pizza.
