What is the Kroger Free Friday Download?
Never heard of the Kroger “free Friday download?” Boy, you don’t know what you’re missing out on! So pull up a chair, and let’s talk about my favorite thing, freebies! (Especially free Friday downloads from Kroger, because it’s a store that I shop at often!)
The free Friday download Kroger giveaway is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Awesome products from Kroger, free, Friday only. Each and every Friday, Kroger offers up another Kroger “free Friday download” for freebie lovers everywhere… er, okay, for freebie lovers in the vicinity of a Kroger. 🙂
Anyway… you have to claim your digital Kroger coupon on Friday, but typically you have about a week or so to actually redeem it. In my opinion, the free Friday download Kroger product is a fantastic way to kick off the weekend!
The free Friday Kroger product could be just about anything.
In past weeks there have been things like:
- Candy
- Drinks
- Snacks
In addition to saving you money, the Kroger free Friday download is a great way for you to try out new products without the risk of wasting money. Even if it is a product my family wouldn’t typically use, I always try to snag the free Friday download Kroger product. I’ll either look for new recipes to use the product it, give it to friends or family (they’re always appreciative of a Kroger Friday freebie), or find other ways to put it to use (like giving the free Friday download product to a food bank or homeless shelter).
So, if you haven’t snagged the latest Kroger free Friday download, what are you waiting for?!

Wrong! The Kroger free Friday download is available at all supermarkets in the Kroger family.
This mean you can snag your free Friday download Kroger product from just about anywhere in the country. Hey, being on vacation is no excuse to pass up a freebie! 😉 In fact, I think getting the Kroger Friday freebie is a smart thing to do then, because vacations are expensive, right? Why not grab a freebie from Kroger (or other supermarket in the Kroger family) to save some money for the more exciting things on vacation?

Is My Kroger Free Friday Download in Jeopardy?
Recently, you may have heard that Kroger sold its convenience stores. That’s true. Kroger snagged $2.15 billion for its (approximately) 800 convenience stores including Tom Thumb, Turkey Hill, and Kwik Shop; however, this transaction does not put your Kroger free Friday download in jeopardy. The convenience store sale should not impact Kroger supermarkets. You can rest easy, your weekly freebie fix is safe! 🙂

Hi. Harris Teeter doesn’t seem to participate in Kroger’s Freebie Friday. My Kroger barcode wouldn’t scan at Harris Teeter and the item didn’t come up as free when I used my Harris Teeter barcode.

Kroger FREE Friday hasn’t worked for several weeks. The box at the link for the FREE Friday DOWNLOAD says, [Please come back on a later date for the next FREE offer.] and has shown this for several weeks… ON FRIDAY. Have they stopped this little treat?

Hi Sue, I did some research as to why the freebie this week wasn’t showing up. Apparently select varieties of RX bars have been recalled due to an undeclared peanut allergen, so I’m assuming they cancelled this week’s Kroger freebie Friday as a result of that. Sorry about that. 🙂 Kelli

I used to get my Free Friday item every week (Dillons stores only in my city), but since like October, there has only been a free item like once a month or so. Is that the same for everyone else? Did they change it to only once a month? Thanks!
