How to Draw a Sunflower Step by Step
We’re going to make it so easy to create your own Free Sunflower Images! There are only six steps in our how to draw a sunflower for kids tutorial:
Step 1: Draw a circle.
Step 2: Draw a petal at the top, bottom, left, and right of the circle. Then, draw identical petals right in between each pair. You should have eight petals when you’re finished.
Step 3: Place your pencil about halfway up the outline of one petal. Draw upwards to a point, then back down, and connect about halfway up the petal next to the one you started on.
It should look like you have one petal behind two others. Repeat until you get all the way around the flower.
Step 4: Draw the stem.
Step 5: Draw a leaf on each side of the stem.
Step 6: Color the petals orange and yellow, the stem green, and the center brown.
