Every year, there’s at least one person on your list that you don’t know what to get. Maybe your office does secret Santa and your stuck with the girl in accounting you never speak to. Maybe you want to give your child’s teacher a little something to say “thanks” but don’t know him or her that well. Maybe you’ve got a cousin you never see except at Christmas that you couldn’t even pick out of a police lineup. Whatever the situation, everyone has someone like that on their list. This year, instead of stressing about buying a gift for this person, consider DIY gifts in a jar.
DIY gifts in a jar are typically edible Mason jar recipes; however, there are a few that contain non-edible items. DIY gifts in a jar are perfect for all the parties involved in the gift giving. For the giver (that’s you), DIY gifts in a jar are easy and inexpensive. For the receiver, DIY gifts in a jar are unique and appear thoughtful (not sterile and strange like that travel toiletry kit you bought for the lady in accounting, your child’s teacher, or absentee cousin last year). Plus, when you go with edible Mason jar recipes, the receiver gets a delicious treat!
