Savings Chart Update Week 42: Claimed Free Admission for Friends at Our Local Swimming Pool = $36.00 in Savings
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend! My family spent part of our weekend at a local pool we belong to with friends enjoying this beautiful weather. Our friends are not members of the pool, so my husband and I wanted to treat them by having them be our guests. In all honesty this pool is overpriced in my opinion, but it is one of only two pools in our area so we do not have many other options. Oh, and the other pool is just as expensive as the one we belong too and with less perks.
Anyway, I was fully prepared to pay the $14 per adult fee and $8 per child fee for our friends when I remembered last minute that we can get free admission passes on Saturdays after 5 p.m. Ironically we were supposed to meet up with our friends earlier in the day but with conflicting nap schedules for my son and theirs we were not able to meet up until later. It worked out perfectly that the kids were able to get their naps in and then we could all have a blast at the pool. Plus I was able to save $36.00 because we scored free admission for our friends. It was a win all around!
This week’s savings brings my annual savings chart total to $4,572.52. Head over here to check out my Week 1-41 savings chart entries.
