Savings Chart Update Week 24: Grabbed $60 Voucher for Only $30 from Daily Deal Site, Groupon = $30 in Savings
For the past few weeks I have been looking for a new gym bag that will fit all of my clothes and shower necessities. Though I will be using it about four times a week, being the frugal gal I am I did not want to spend a ridiciuculous amount on this purchase. I quickly discovered to find a cute yet functional gym that has all the compartments I need it could easily cost me upwards of $75. This is why early this week I decided to cease my gym bag search because I was not about to shell out that kind of money.
Then on Friday I noticed Groupon, the daily deal site, had a voucher offer for $60 worth of merchandise from Gaiam.com for only $30. I was not familiar with Gaiam.com but after spending a bit of time searching their site I realized they had lots of cute fitness clothing and accessories with strong customer reviews. Then I spotted it! Yep, I stumbled upon the Everything Fits Gym Bag. This bag has it all, room to store my shoes, clothes, shower items, my son’s sippy cup, and more. Perfection!
The Everything Fits Gym Bag retails for $60, but with my Groupon voucher I was able to get the bag for just $34.99 including shipping! Yahoo! By just being patient, I was able to find exactly what I wanted at the price I was willing to pay.
This week I saved an additional $30 which brings my annual savings chart total to $3,327.68. Head over here to check out my Week 1-23 savings chart entries.
