Savings Chart Update Week 21: Purchased $100 Gift Certificate to Use on Haircuts, Scored Free Manicure = $23 in Savings
As you know, I love a great deal as much as the next person and the holiday time is one of the best opportunities to snag some sweet bargains. I recently noticed my hair salon was offering a free manicure when you purchased a $100 gift certificate. Initially I thought, geez, I don’t want to spend $100 just to get a free manicure.
While I was debating whether to purchase this gift certificate, my husband reminded me that every year as part of my birthday gift from him he treats me to a manicure, so he encouraged me to grab this deal because this will complete part of his birthday gift shopping for me. I like the way he thinks! 🙂 Then I took into consideration that I will surely use the gift certificate on myself and my son on haircuts, so I thought what the heck, “treat yourself, Kelli,” and I decided to snatch up this deal.
A signature manicure at my salon is $23, so this brings my annual savings chart total to $3,287.68. Head over here to check out my Week 1-20 savings chart entries.
