Savings Chart Update Week 4: Papa John’s Coupon Code + Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Penn Station Sub Coupon = $13.49 of Savings
Like many households, my family enjoys indulging with a take out meal on Friday nights. In fact, not too long ago, my husband came home on Friday evening and promptly said, “Let’s order pizza!”. I was quite proud when he quickly followed his remark up with, “Do you have a coupon?” I have been slowly “training” this avid non-coupon user to embrace the all mighty coupon for quite a while now. He was in luck; I had a 50% off a large Papa John’s pizza coupon code. By simply placing our order online and entering a coupon code, I saved my family $9.00 on Friday night’s dinner!
The Papa John’s coupon was the “50THANKS” code which enabled me to snag 50% off a large pizza at regular price. Though this coupon code is no longer valid, you can use the code “PLAY50″ through September 1 or “NFL53″ to buy one large pizza at regular price and get one large 1-topping pizza for only $0.53.
On Saturday afternoon, after a massive long walk to the park, my husband decided to mow the lawn. Dripping with sweat he walked in and said, “I am in the mood for Penn Station, do you have one of those coupons?” The coupon he was referring to is a buy one 8″, 10″ or 12″ sub and get one 6″ sub for free. These coupons occasionally come in our local flyer. I couldn’t recall if I had one that wasn’t expired, so I scampered over to my coupon folder, pulled out my restaurant coupons envelope, and low and behold, I found a Penn Station coupon that didn’t expire until August 31. This saved my family another $4.49.
Ok, so last weekend our eating habits were less than perfect, but the money I saved provides me comfort. 🙂 By having a couple of valuable coupons handy, I was able to save my family a total of $13.49 which brings my week four savings chart total to $2,437.60.
