Savings Chart Update Week 35: Used 40% Off Michael’s Coupon to Snag Bubble Wand = $0.80 in Savings
Though this week’s savings is my smallest amount to date, I am still incredibly excited about it primarily because it makes my little guy so happy! This week my son and I headed to our local Michael’s store to find a craft or activity to do and since I had a hot 40% off any one regular priced item coupon I was even more eager to find something fun.
Immediately I headed straight to the Crayola section since most of the activities we do involves a Crayola item or two. To our disappointment nothing really got either of us pumped up, so we continued to peruse the store when we spotted a bubble wand. As I picked up the bubble wand to read the package and learn more about it, my son snatched it out of my hand. I quickly discovered this was his favorite item. I offered him a handful of other items but nothing topped the bubble wand.
The bubble wand by Creatology (we got the exact bubble wand pictured above except ours is blue) retails at Michael’s for $1.99 so after my 40% off coupon we paid only $1.19 plus tax resulting in an $0.80 savings. This bring my weekly savings chart total to $3,854.49. (By the way, if you are curious if the bubble wand produces some pretty fantastic bubbles I can verify it does indeed! 🙂 )
