Savings Chart Update Week 8: = Purchased Pre-sale Tickets to Attend Bluegrass for Babies Event = $6.52 in Savings
Like most parents of young children, my husband and I try to come up with fun weekend events that are low on price but big on fun. This weekend is especially exciting because not only have we found an event that fulfills our requirements, but it also supports a great cause: improving children’s health.
We are attending Bluegrass for Babies which is a local charity event that has a lot of fun activities for kids like face painters, a crazy dress up photo booth, and a large foam building block area, in addition to organic food and live bluegrass music.
The ticket price for this event is $20 each and kids 12 and under get in free, but if you purchase your tickets online the tickets are only $15 plus a $1.74 processing fee. Of course, knowing we are planning to attend this event, I purchased our tickets online which resulted in a weekly savings of $6.52. After this week 8 savings chart entry, my annual savings is $2.564.55.
