I love many things about colder weather like a beautiful snowfall, making a snowman with my son, breaking out my slow cooker to whip up hearty meals for my family, and the holidays that are fast approaching, but one aspect of winter I am not a big fan of is the bounty of sickness that ensues. Since having my son, it seems like nearly every week someone in my family has a runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever or other cold and flu symptoms. To help combat those pesky germs I try to stock up on medications when they are on sale or when I find a coupon.
Thanks to my partnership with #CollectiveBias I have the opportunity to share with you a way for your family to save money on many of the medications you already use. That’s right, during this November, if you head to Walgreens to purchase participating Pfizer products such as Advil, Thermacare, Robitussin, Centrum, Caltrate, Emergen-c, Chapstick and more, you can save up to $10 with the in-store coupon booklet. You can find the complete list of participating products in the coupon booklet. Simply look for the in-store display seen below at my local Walgreens near the pharmacy.
While at Walgreens, I decided to pick up a few of my favorite Pfizer products: Centrum, Chapstick and Children’s Advil. I snagged a bottle of Centrum multi-vitamins for my husband. He is incredibly diligent about taking his multi-vitamins even when he’s traveling for work, so when I can score a sweet deal on his brand of choice, Centrum, I jumped at the chance to add a bottle to his medicine cabinet.
Next, I decided to pick up a product that is near and dear to my heart…lip moisturizer! Yep, I can’t get enough of them. I have incredibly dry skin and the cold winter weather can be pretty rough on it, especially my lips, so I like to be well stocked with lip moisturizers like Chapstick. I have to have a tube of Chapstick within arm’s reach of me nearly all the time. I store them all over including in my son’s diaper bag, my car’s arm rest, on the night stand, in the end table drawer next to the couch in our living room, my purse, etc. Okay you get the idea!
Showing off my Chapstick in my car’s arm rest, please ignore my music of choice: ABC Music & Me! 🙂
I couldn’t leave Walgreens without picking up something for my cute little germ carrier, my two year old son. When I spotted Children’s Advil was included in this Pfizer promotion I quickly grabbed a box. With my son constantly having his fingers in his mouth it is nearly inevitable that he will catch some illness from his preschool pals, so I like to keep his medicine cabinet well stocked. In fact, this past year we kept pulling out medicines so frequently that now I leave one on his bathroom sink at all times. This may sound absurd, but I am afraid to put the medicine away because I think it may jinx him and he’ll need it again. I know, I am a dork! LOL!
Well, these are just a few ways that my family took advantage of the #HealthySavings you can score on Pfizer products. This year do your family and your wallet a favor and grab the in-store coupon booklet and stock up on your favorite Pfizer medications.
