I was compensated by Evite for my time in developing this post. All opinions are my own.
A couple of years ago I started the tradition of hosting an Easter egg hunt for my son and a couple of his friends. This is one of my favorite holiday traditions because of the pure joy on their faces as they race to grab their candy filled eggs.
Now that they are four years old they have a much better understanding of what an Easter egg hunt is and they actually anticipate it. Plus this year my son was able to help me stuff the eggs with candy and tell me what kind of candy he wanted to fill the eggs with.
There they go!
Above is a photo of this year’s Easter egg hunt. It went off perfectly. The weather cooperated and the kids were raring and ready to go! Within minutes they had snatched up all thirty-six eggs and managed to convince us adults to let them indulge in some of their candy.
Though the actual Easter egg hunting took mere minutes, the excitement leading up to the event was part of the fun. I think the excitement was intensified because I invited the kids via an adorable Easter card I found on Evite. I found the perfect premium Easter card to use, it even has an cute Easter basket on it. I love that it took me only a few minutes to design and it is much more impressive to send than a simple email.
