The holidays are a wonderful time filled with food, family and fun, but it can also be a an incredibly stressful time. With Easter fast approaching it is easy to get overwhelmed with the seemingly limitless list of things to do: prepare Easter baskets, attend/host egg hunts, Easter meal planning etc. This year instead of allowing yourself to be consumed with your lengthy to-do list I recommend focusing on the fun.
For instance, are you the person responsible for preparing the big Easter feast for the family? If so, consider outsourcing a portion of the work to HoneyBaked Ham so you can focus on the more fun and exciting tasks like stuffing plastic Easter eggs with candy or shopping for Easter basket items (by the way, if you are looking for a list of cheap Easter gifts here are 101 of my favorite ideas).
Check out the Easter meal I was able to prepare in a fraction of the time because I enlisted the help of HoneyBaked Ham. At my local HoneyBaked Ham store I picked up a mini ham, turkey breast, side dish of mac and cheese and an assortment of cheesecakes plus while there I grabbed a bag of King’s Hawaiian rolls. (Please note: side dish and dessert availability may be different at your HoneyBaked Ham store). Want to know how long it took me to prepare this Easter feast? About an hour, that’s it! Yep, since the ham and turkey breast were already cooked, the mac and cheese took the longest because I made it in the oven, but you can opt to cook it in the microwave to speed things up. That’s right, in a little over 60 minutes I was able to put out an impressive spread for my family without breaking a sweat and judging by how little food remained from this feast I can verify my family loved it too! It’s a win win!
Since I did not have to spend all morning in the kitchen I was able to focus on stuffing and hiding Easter eggs, making hard boiled eggs to decorate with my son, and loading up my son’s Easter basket with his favorite things. Way more fun!
This Easter, I encourage you to focus on what really matters, spending time with your loved ones and making memories. Trust me, you won’t miss the time not spent in the kitchen.

As you can see my son went straight for his favorite mac and cheese which by the way was awesome! I must admit I make a pretty darn good homemade mac and cheese but I think I like HoneyBaked Ham’s mac and cheese more, and I think hubby does too. Cool with me, much less work. 🙂 You may also notice a giant Snickerdoodle cookie on my son’s plate, yep, I got that at HoneyBaked Ham as well. My son is weird, he doesn’t like cheesecake!
Go Ian! Find those eggs!
