For about the past year I have been eating a can of Progresso® Light soup for lunch nearly every day because I love it! It’s healthy, delicious, filling, and a quick and easy way for me to get a dose of vegetables into my body. As a busy mom of a toddler who never stops, this is important to me.
Now that we are heading into the coldest months of the year, this is the ideal time to enjoy a warm bowl of delicious soup. Few things taste better when coming inside after shoveling the driveway, building a snowman with the kids or just running errands in the frigid temperatures than a piping hot bowl of your favorite soup.
Though my son is still a bit young to appreciate the taste of a bowl of soup on a cold winter day, I have converted my husband to eating more soup. He prefers a more hearty soup like the Progresso® Light Savory Beef Barley Vegetable or the Progresso® Light Italian Style Meatball. He thinks it is more filling than the other light soups, but little does he know both of these soups only contain 80 calories per serving! I love tricking him into eating healthier. 🙂
With most of us coming off the over indulgences of the holidays, we need to get back on track with eating more sensibly and healthier, and I am grateful that we have delicious and flavorful options like Progresso® Light soups. My favorite Progresso® Light soups are the Chicken Vegetable Rotini, Roasted Chicken and Vegetable, and Chicken Noodle. Though I am loyal to my Progresso® Light soup, I do occasionally change up what I pair with it. I decided to try a new recipe for a Buffalo Chicken Wrap which I share below.
To find all the ingredients for my Buffalo Chicken Wrap I headed to Walmart where I also grabbed several cans of Progresso® Light soup. Before you head to Walmart to pick up your Progresso® Light soup, be sure to print this coupon to save $1.00 when you buy four of any flavor canned Progresso® Soups through January 31, 2016.
