All opinions are mine alone. #TaiPeiGoodFortune #CollectiveBiasNow that Christmas is over it’s time to look forward to the next holiday…New Year’s! How do you ring in the New Year? Whether you are planning a party for two or twenty I have the yummy appetizers for you to serve along with an easy and scrumptious dip that is the perfect complement. Thanks to my collaboration with #CollectiveBias I recently had the opportunity to try Tai Pei’s Pork Egg Rolls and Chicken Spring Rolls. These authentic Asian appetizers came with a delicious dipping sauce but I wanted to make a holiday inspired dipping sauce that would satisfy my sweet tooth, so I whipped up a homemade Cranberry-Orange Egg Roll Dipping Sauce. This dipping sauce will be a hit at any New Year’s Eve party or simply to devour at home.
When I host a party I love having a variety of finger foods for people to enjoy. This way my guests can easily carry on a conversation while they indulge in some yummy eats. Plus they get the chance to sample a variety of foods. There are several reasons why Tai Pei’s appetizers are a good addition to my New Year’s menu not the least of which that they are super easy to make. That’s right, in just minutes I can have warm delicious egg rolls and spring rolls ready to serve. Why spend an hour filling and wrapping my own egg rolls and spring rolls when in minutes I can have delicious crispy wrapped rolls loaded with fresh cut veggies and a hearty serving of chicken, pork or shrimp? No thanks, I’ll let Tai Pei do the work! Besides, since I don’t have to make the egg rolls or spring rolls, I have extra time to make a homemade Cranberry-Orange Dipping Sauce.
You don’t need to be hosting a New Year’s Eve party to enjoy Tai Pei’s appetizers. Nope! They make great meal options for the entire family especially for the kids because they are super easy for little fingers to pick up and shove into their mouths plus as a mom I appreciate that they are filled with vegetables which is not always the easiest foods to get little ones to consume. My two year old son is one of the worst eaters ever (ok that’s a bit of an exaggeration but he’s got to be in the top five), and I think the novelty of these cute little rolls may win him over. It’s worth a shot! These appetizers would also make a satisfying after school snack for older kids plus they are much better for them than chips or cookies.
Not sure where you can find Tai Pei’s appetizers? As you can see in the picture above, I found them at Walmart in the freezer area in the Parties and Gatherings section.
